Del Scott Miller is a guitarist, songwriter, composer, poet and writer from Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Influenced by, among others, John Martyn, Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen, Woody Guthrie, Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, Billy Bragg and John Smith as well as jazz and classical guitarists, his poetic, often politically leaning and story led lyrics are complimented by rich chords and intricate fingerpicking.

Since leaving his band of 10 years in 2014 he has written and recorded four albums (with a fifth due this autumn) and supported, among others, Ben Ottewell of Gomez, The Stranglers’ frontman Baz Warne, the UK’s current blues guitar hero Ben Poole, The Subways’ frontman Billy Lunn and folk guitar virtuoso Martin Simpson, often cited as one of the world’s finest acoustic players.
